I am not very good at this...
Ok, so obviously I am not very astute at blogging. It requires regular check in and posts right? Here is is July 21st and I haven't been on here since February. Sigh. Since then I have changed jobs leaving a hospice social work job to take a position in case management with a leading health insurance company. I have had to learn a lot of new procedures and then relearn them when they were changed. But, I still get to run the roads and visit people in their homes. I love doing that. And I love hearing people's stories. I don't get to do that as much with this job, but still run into some wonderful people and see parts of the country side I would never have seen. Thank goodness for GPS. It has saved me in some very rural places several times. This weekend we are taking care of our granddaughter for the entire weekend for the first time! Should be fun. She is almost 15 months old. Grandkids make the world go 'round.

Thirty five years ago, Craig came over to my apartment on White Ave. for lasagna. He brought a bottle of wine. We had known each other since the summer of '72 when we both graduated from high school. He went to Farragut and I went to Bearden. We both worked at the Sheraton Inn on Executive Park Drive, now the Holiday Inn. I remembered Craig from when he moved to Tennessee in 1968. He was the new kid, arriving just 6 weeks before the end of school. He ran with a different crowd than I did, so he didn't know me. Ever since that Valentine's we have had lasagna. Now our girls are beginning to do that with their husbands. Our family has this think about tradition...
We have been married now for almost 34 years. Wow, seems like only yesterday we were the ages of our adult daughters.
